Green Tent affirms the importance of endowment banks and their social and cultural dimensions

The first symposium of the activities of the Green Tent of the program “A flower in every spring” affirmed the importance of endowment banks and their social, cultural and health dimensions and the role of endowments in the Islamic civilization throughout its history , as well as the projects she achieved, which still play a prominent role in the lives of millions of Muslims around the world.
During the symposium organized under the title “The importance of endowment banks and their social, cultural and health dimensions”, which saw the participation of academics from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Algeria and Iraq, head of the association “A Flower Each Spring Program”, Dr. Saif Ali Al Hajri defined the endowment, noting that there are 12 verses in the Holy Quran that contain the words “a good loan”, considering that the endowment is the best loan, and that the Islamic nation has a history worth following, so that everyone knows its merit in spreading the values ​​of life, and its concern to support development.
Dr. Al Hajri called on legislative bodies to secure and formulate the necessary legislation to protect the legitimate earnings of endowments in Islamic and non-Islamic countries with emphasis on further developing this great heritage and expanding its scope. areas to ensure horizontal and vertical growth. . He also called for the establishment and development of school programs for young people.
For their part, the participants in the symposium underlined that the endowment has its development objectives, and its legitimacy drawn from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, whether it is of public or private utility.
