NNPP announces Ladipo Johnson as Kwankwanso running mate

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) announced Barr’s choice. Ladipo Johnson as his presidential candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s running mate.

Johnson hails from Lagos State in southwestern Nigeria and was a candidate for governor.

The NNPP made the announcement via its official Twitter account, @nnpphqabuja1, which was also confirmed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Major Agbor.

The party wrote: “Road to 2023: Bar Ladipo Johnson is our great party’s running mate.”

Johnson said increasing the value added tax (VAT) rate to 7.5% and other related taxes on consumer goods and services, including escalating percentages up to 6% of the stamp duty on rental and lease contracts, have subjected Nigerians to further suffering.
