Increasingly, the UK is becoming a hub for the super-rich. Tiedemann Constantia brings together the international operations of Tiedemann Advisors, one of the largest independent investment and wealth advisers in the United States for families, trusts, foundations and high net worth endowments. Tiedemann Constantia purchases London-based multi-family office Holbein Partners LLP, subject to FCA approval. Tiedemann Constantia is headed by former Credit Suisse Group AG banker Robert Weeber. Weeber and New York-based Tiedemann Advisors launched their joint venture in Switzerland two years ago under the name Tiedemann Constantia. Tiedemann Constantia tried to find an acquisition in London for a wealth management company.

The acquisition will combine the expertise of Holbein’s core partners and team with the international investment resources and impact credentials of Tiedemann Advisors in the US and Tiedemann Constantia internationally. Following the acquisition, Tiedemann Advisors and Tiedemann Constantia, with European offices in Zurich, Geneva and London, will together oversee approximately $ 30 billion in client assets.

The acquisition follows the recent hiring of Jed Emerson as global head of impact investing at Tiedemann, as well as the additions of Charles d’Oncieu as the head of the firm’s new Geneva office and Sylvie Golay as chief strategist for international affairs.
